Contact SIMMS-IM Gary Bauer Gary Bauer taught junior high and high school mathematics for 30 years, all but two of those years in Great Falls, Montana. He was a member of the SIMMS Integrated Mathematics writing team and taught the curriculum at C. M. Russell High School. He has been involved in promoting the curriculum nationwide since fall 1997, including having served as Director of the SIMMS Integrated Mathematics Dissemination Center at Montana State University-Bozeman. Gary is a Presidential Awardee in Mathematics (1991) and served as MCTM President from 1989-1991. A graduate of MSU-Bozeman (1967-1971), he has been active in mathematics in Montana and the nation for 40 years. He has also served on the Board of the Montana Learning Center, and is currently a consultant with Kendall/Hunt Publishing Company teaching teachers to use SIMMS-IM. © 2008 SIMMS Integrated Mathematics |
